About Us

At Rocky Top Worship Center, we are a family of believers passionate about loving God and loving people. Our heart is to create a place where everyone feels welcome, no matter their story or background. We believe church isn’t just about attending a service—it’s about encountering the Father’s love, discovering your true identity in Christ, and walking that out together in community. We are cultivating a new culture of Kingdom living—one that reflects heaven on earth, marked by love, grace, and purpose. We are seeing lives transformed, families strengthened, and hope restored in our community and beyond. Above all, our desire is for every person to experience the freedom of knowing who they are in Christ and to walk confidently in that identity. Whether you’ve been in church your whole life or you’re just beginning to ask questions about faith, you’ll find a place here to belong. Together, we are learning to see ourselves and others the way the Father does—with love, grace, and purpose. Come as you are, and join us as we walk into all that God has prepared for us.

What happens for my children on Sunday mornings?

At Rocky Top Worship Center, we love seeing children experience God’s love in a fun and safe environment. Our nursery is available for little ones ages 0–2 throughout the entire service, providing a nurturing space for them to be cared for while parents worship and participate in the service. After worship, Children’s Church welcomes preschool through 5th-grade children into engaging classes filled with age-appropriate activities, worship, and Christ-centered teaching that helps kids grow in their faith and discover who they are in Christ. Every child is invited to join in the excitement and fun as they learn about God’s love in a way that’s meaningful to them.

Wednesdays at 6:00pm

Join us on Wednesday nights for a more intimate setting where we dive deeper into the Word and explore the heart of each teaching. It’s a time for meaningful discussion, growth, and connection with one another.

Our Heart is to:

awaken to who you truly are—fully loved, alive in Christ, and living in your beloved identity.

Core Beliefs

God

We believe in one eternal God whose very nature is love, revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is not distant or judgmental; He is Abba, a tender Father who pursues humanity with relentless grace, mercy, and compassion. He clothes us in His love, restores us in our mistakes, and always calls us closer, never holding our failures against us. In Jesus, God’s character is fully revealed—perfectly loving, forgiving, and reconciling the world to Himself. His heart is steadfast, unchanging, and devoted entirely to goodness, restoration, and the flourishing of His creation.

Revelation

God is the One who reveals Himself, always taking the initiative to be known. He makes His nature, love, and character evident to all, showing who He truly is. In Christ, the mystery of God dwelling with humanity is revealed—showing His love, compassion, and always-good opinion of all people. God’s revelation is redemptive, relational, and transformative, inviting everyone into His presence and truth.

Salvation

We believe salvation is God’s gift to all, accomplished fully through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Salvation is not something we earn or achieve—it is complete, once and for all, and reveals God’s power, love, and desire to restore humanity. Through Christ, our old, broken identity is crucified, buried, and raised to new life, redeemed and reconciled with God. This gift of grace extends to all people, demonstrating that God’s heart is to heal, restore, and reconcile the entirety of creation, not based on our effort but on His perfect love.

The Church

The Church, or Ekklesia, is the living body of Christ, called and empowered by the Holy Spirit to function as a governing assembly in God’s Kingdom. It is not a building or institution, but a Spirit-led community where each member has a unique role to love, serve, and build up others, reflecting God’s good opinion of humanity. Following Jesus’ example, the Church overcomes brokenness with grace, hope, and restoration, proclaiming the gospel by awakening people to their union with God rather than through rules or fear.

Resurrection

Resurrection is a present and active reality, not just a past event or future hope. Jesus Himself embodies resurrection and life, overcoming death, despair, and the patterns that once held us captive (John 11:25-26). Through co-burial and co-resurrection in baptism, believers are empowered to walk in newness of life, breaking free from the slavery of old mindsets and limitations (Romans 6:4-5; 2 Corinthians 5:17). This resurrection power restores our true identity, energizes godly living, and offers hope for both personal transformation and the world’s redemption (Romans 8:11, 19-23).
