Our Church

Rocky Top Worship Center is a non-denominational church located in Rocky Top, Tennessee led by Pastors Chris & Michelle Tackett.  Here at RTWC, we invite anyone and everyone to become a part of our family.  We teach on how much God loves us and encouragement on how to live life through and with God.  We believe God is not an angry God but a loving Father who wants the best for His children.  We believe in the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and our past sins have been washed away and now is the time to live without sin and be free!

  • We believe all scripture in the Bible is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for instruction in righteousness. (II Timothy 3:16)
  • We believe the Virgin Mary conceived through Holy Ghost and birthed Jesus Christ into the earth. (Luke 1:31-35)
  • We believe Jesus Christ, the son of God, went to Calvary, as the wisdom of God, to redeem man from the fall of Adam. (Titus 2:13-14)
  • We believe that through Jesus' death, burial and resurrection the redemption of man was finished. (John 19:30)
  • We believe through the finished work on the cross at Calvary there is complete salvation for man spirit, soul and body. (I Thessalonians 5:23)
  • We believe that Jesus Christ, through the work on the cross at Calvary, provided the reality of the three feasts for man:

                                 Passover - New Birth (I Corinthians 5:7-8)

Pentecost - Baptism of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:1-4)

Tabernacles - Full Redemption (Philippians 3:20-21)

  • We believe in the Church of Jesus Christ; Jesus is the chief cornerstone and it is built upon the foundation on the apostles and the prophets. (Ephesians 2:13-22)
  • We believe it is God's will and plan for His Kingdom to be established in the earth. (Matthew 6:10)
  • We believe the Church is the birth canal for the Kingdom of God in the earth; for Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God comes not with observation, for behold the Kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:20-21)
  • We believe the Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. (Romans 14:17)
  • We believe it is the mandate of the Church to manifest the goodness of God in the earth, and the manifestation of His goodness will lead men to repentance. (Romans 2:4)
  • We believe Jesus is returning to planet earth not to establish a kingdom, but to receive a kingdom that is already established in the hearts of His people. (I John 3:2)
